Therefore, what motivates our final decision? Usually, such decisions are based on your chosen field. We will assume you're a teacher. If there are many teaching jobs in your area then you will stay near home. On the other hand, if distant schools are hiring then you might choose to go away. Also, jobs in your field might pay higher wages in another area.

Jobs Vs Freelancing: Who Will Win The Competition?

If you all will look through the statements of the most successful people, you will all see that most of them advise everybody to make everything possible to work on their own, to be freelancers. Though, not everyone is able to run their own business, due to different causes.

To be honest with you, having a regular and serious job is like a pain killer when it comes to certain aspects: for example, the salary; one day per month, the worker knows that one day per month, he will receive a salary.

On the other hand, the freelancer does not have anything guaranteed. If he does not have projects, or if he has not completed his projects before the deadline, he will not receive any money, therefore, he will not be able to pay his collaborators or the bills as well. Though, if we make a comparison between the maximum earnings potential between these 2 categories, we will see that a freelancer can earn much more than a worker which has a regular job.

Why is this happening?

Because a freelancer can establish for himself how many hours wants to work per day and per month, therefore, he can work much more than a regular worker. As usual, the potential earnings are way bigger. The only thing about the work of a freelancer is the fact that he can not afford to make errors at his work, or otherwise, if he gets a bad feedback, the chances to gain new clients and more projects will seriously decrease.

So, basically, the thing is like this: if someone is confident on his power and does not have too many debts or just things he has to pay for, then starting to work for its own is maybe the best thing anyone could do. On the other hand, if someone has a family, not a big capital and big debts as well, starting a business might be extremely difficult as things might not be so good from the start.

For example, the new entrepreneur might have to spend more than he earns, and therefore, he might not afford to pay something else. This is where the regular jobs have an important advantage upon freelancing, as in a normal situation, things can’t get so wrong. From this point of view, it is better to have a regular job, but only if the worker is satisfied by the level of his earnings. If he decides to be a freelancer, or just to start something on his own, then he must be ready to face any bad incidents that might appear.
